PEG Staffing is seeking a Cash Applications Specialist for our prestigious client located in Weldon Spring, MO. This is a contract-to-hire position with a hybrid schedule after training.

What You Will Do in this Cash Applications role:

- Research, Enter & Balance Cash Receipts: Your keen eye for detail will ensure our cash inflows are accurately recorded and balanced.

- Handle intricate transactions with finesse, maintaining the integrity of our financial records.

- Research & Respond to Customer Inquiries: Utilize your customer-centric approach to provide top-notch support and resolutions.

- Put your analytical skills to work, processing refunds efficiently and effectively.

- Embrace variety by taking on new challenges that contribute to our financial success.

To Be Successful in This Role, You Have:

- 2+ years of accounting/business experience or equivalent college coursework

- Previous Accounts Receivable and customer service experience (a definite plus!)

- Experience with posting cash and credit transactions; issuing refunds for overpayments

- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel

- Excellent written & oral communication skills

- Outstanding organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy.

- A knack for working independently in a fast-paced environment and juggling multiple priorities.
