What You’ll Be Doing

As the A/R Accountant, you’ll play a key role in supporting the company’s accounting operations and ensuring customer accounts are accurate and up to date. Responsibilities include:

- Reviewing, analyzing, and processing credits while ensuring accuracy according to contracts and equipment schedules

- Setting up new customer accounts within the billing system

- Communicating with new customers and assisting with billing-related questions

- Reconciling accounts receivable accounts to the general ledger

- Updating customer billing information and generating miscellaneous invoices

- Researching and resolving billing discrepancies in a timely manner

- Assisting with system upgrade testing and supporting additional A/R projects as needed

What Our Client Is Looking For

- 2+ years of accounting, accounts receivable, or business experience

- Invoicing experience with 3rd party payment systems

- Experience with reconciling to the General Ledger. 

- Strong Microsoft Excel skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

- Highly organized with strong attention to detail

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

- Self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently
