Are you an accountant with 3+ years of experience looking to grow your career in the finance industry? An established St. Louis company is hiring a Senior Accountant in Afton, MO to oversee accounting and financial reporting functions and work directly with the controller. 

What You'll Do:

- Oversee the general ledger accounting, ensuring compliance with GAAP.

- Supervise and lead a team of Staff Accountants

- Manage accounting for the investment securities portfolio and related activities.

- Record month-end accruals, journal entries, and reconcile general ledger accounts.

- Prepare intercompany service fees and month-end tax calculations.

- File regulatory reports and conduct regular team meetings and check-ins to foster communication and development.

Skills and Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.

- CPA or MBA preferred.

- 3+ years of accounting experience.

- Strong analytical, communication, and time management skills.
