Employment type: Direct Hire Source: PEG Staffing job board (Bullhorn job 4174) PEG Staffing is seeking a Manager level Accounting & Onboarding expert to support and lead a St. Louis accounting firm with their expanding growth! This role will require a combination of progressive accounting expertise and operations. Daily Responsibilities: - Lead and oversee client accounting operations, including onboarding, service delivery, and ongoing client management - Oversee the onboarding of new clients, ensuring a smooth transition and establish a strong experience has been had - Manage and develop a team of accounting professionals, including coaching, performance management, and career development - Work with and be a partner to internal teams, including sales, IT, and operations, to ensure seamless client integration and support - Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting and deliverables across a portfolio of clients - Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, scalability, and consistency across the client accounting function - Act as a strategic partner to leadership on client growth, team structure, and operational planning - Manage multiple client engagements at once while maintaining high service standards, client facing engagements Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting - CPA or MBA preferred - 8+ years of accounting experience - 3+ years of nonprofit accounting experience required - Prior experience in a client-facing or outsourced accounting environment preferred - Proven leadership experience managing and developing accounting teams - Strong judgment and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment This is a permanent position located in St. Louis!
