Are you an experienced engineering leader with a passion for driving efficiency, safety, and innovation in metals processing? We’re looking for a Director of Value Add Engineering to oversee equipment reliability, new installations, and process improvements across multiple facilities.

This role is hands-on and highly visible—you’ll partner with operations, maintenance, and leadership to shape productivity, quality, and safety standards while leading engineering projects that directly impact performance.

What You’ll Do:

- Ensure equipment reliability through troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Lead capital projects, equipment installations, and efficiency-driven upgrades.

- Conduct cost modeling to support customer plans and project execution.

- Champion safety compliance, OSHA standards, and environmental regulations.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to drive results.

- Provide technical training and leadership to plant teams.

What We’re Looking For:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Manufacturing).

- Deep expertise in metal roll forming manufacturing (non-negotiable).

- 3+ years in plant, manufacturing, or industrial engineering (metals/steel strongly preferred).

- Expertise in mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and roll forming.

- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or TPM principles.

- Strong project management skills, CAD proficiency, and knowledge of CMMS systems.

- Willingness to travel up to 50% for installations and projects.

Preferred Skills:

- Background in steel processing, heavy manufacturing, or metals.

- Knowledge of PLCs, automation, and control systems.

- Professional Engineer (PE) license or advanced reliability/maintenance certification.

- Spanish language skills a plus.
