Payroll Specialist

This is a 6-month opportunity with a hybrid work schedule of 3 days/week onsite, 2 days remote.

What You'll Do: 

- Process payroll checks and direct deposits.

- Set up direct deposit and maintain banking information.

- Stay updated on payroll tax regulations.

- Manage garnishments and wage attachments.

- Maintain and audit payroll records.

- Reconcile payroll and general ledger accounts.

- Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries.

To Be Successful, It'll Help If You Have: 

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred.

- Payroll processing experience required.

- Strong Excel, math, and organizational skills.

- Familiarity with Windows-based systems.

- Peoplesoft and Oracle Software Experience
