PEG Staffing & Recruiting is seeking a Collections Manager for our esteemed client in Weldon Spring, Missouri. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity offering the chance to lead a small team and play a key role in managing business-to-business collections and account resolution.

What you can expect in this role:

In this position, the Collections Manager will oversee daily collections operations, supervise a team of collectors, and ensure timely resolution of outstanding accounts. This role requires a balance of leadership, analytical thinking, and customer-facing professionalism.

Daily responsibilities include:

- Managing day-to-day collection activities and workflows

- Supervising and supporting a team of 4 collectors

- Providing leadership, coaching, training, and performance guidance

- Reviewing delinquent accounts and determining appropriate next steps

- Researching and resolving escalated customer inquiries and disputes in a professional manner

- Preparing, analyzing, and distributing collection reports to upper management and other stakeholders

What will make you successful:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field preferred, but not required.

- 3+ years of supervisory experience in corporate collections or accounts receivable

- Strong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
