Location: Columbus, Mississippi (on-site)

Compensation: $85,000–$90,000 base (flexible for the right candidate)

We’re partnering with a fast-paced, growth-oriented manufacturing organization seeking a Quality Engineer Supervisor to join their team. This is a direct hire opportunity with strong upward mobility and a culture that values continuous improvement and innovation.

This role reports to the Quality Manager and plays a key part in building and enhancing a best-in-class quality management system. If you’re someone who doesn’t just maintain processes but actively improves them, you’ll fit right in.

What You’ll Do

- Develop, implement, and continuously improve quality systems and processes

- Design and evaluate QA sampling systems, procedures, and statistical techniques

- Create and manage quality KPIs, ensuring follow-through on improvement initiatives

- Lead and support corrective and preventive actions using a data-driven approach

- Manage APQP processes for new product launches (PPAPs, FAIs, capability studies)

- Participate in MRB activities and collaborate across multiple divisions

- Conduct internal and external audits (customer, ISO, etc.) and drive corrective actions

- Interpret engineering drawings, specs, and standards

- Support continuous improvement initiatives across operations

- Maintain calibration systems and ensure compliance with QMS standards

- Interface with customers and suppliers as needed

What You Bring

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering

- 4–5+ years of quality/continuous improvement experience in manufacturing

- Strong experience with Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma

- Hands-on experience with:

- PPAP, FAI, capability studies

- SPC & MSA methodologies

- Root cause analysis (8D or similar tools)

- Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 (Lead Auditor training is a plus)

- Experience with ERP and quality management systems

- Strong analytical skills and ability to work through complex problems

- Experience with metals (steel, aluminum, stainless) is a plus

- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
