Employment type: Direct Hire Source: PEG Staffing job board (Bullhorn job 4276) PEG Staffing & Recruiting is seeking a Director of IT (Infrastructure) for a solid, non-profit organization in the greater St. Louis area! JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for the strategic vision and development of IT strategies that support the achievement of business objectives. As a member of the executive leadership team, will partner with other executive leaders to thoroughly evaluate and integrate IT infrastructure and systems to support execution of key organizational strategies. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: - Designs, deploys, maintains, and administers organization-wide IT infrastructure including, but not limited to, Cloud based operations, LAN/WAN operations, and organization-wide software. - Develops and implements business continuity protocols to minimize disruption to business operations in the event of emergency situations or data loss. - Develops and implements strategies as they relate to the organization's cybersecurity to ensure industry compliance, including the facilitation of IT security audits or investigations. - Coordinates, researches, designs, and deploys multisite enterprise resource planning (ERP) system. - Oversees e-commerce operations to ensure 24/7 availability and to ensure sites are properly configured for B2B and B2C customers. - Guides the integration of acquired business’ IT processes into the organization’s system. - Keep current with trends and issues in the IT industry and advise, counsel, and educate executives and management on their competitive or financial impact - Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of third-party services on a regular basis. - Analyzes IT infrastructure and systems performance to assess operating costs, productivity levels, upgrade requirements, and other metrics and needs. - Develops and maintains relationships with external IT vendors and service providers, including the negotiation and administration of vendor and consultant contracts and service agreements. - Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions and efficient use of resources. - Provides resources and/or conducts user training relative to the operation and use of the organization’s IT systems. - Oversee the day-to-day operations of the IT department, ensuring high levels of system performance and reliability. - Develop knowledge and understanding of Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification and implement as necessary. - Manage projects using traditional and Agile methods, including Scrum, Kanban, and waterfall. - Other duties as assigned. REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES/KNOWLEDGE: - Sound understanding of computer systems, networks, security, telecommunications, databases, and storage systems. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including attention to detail. - Strong leadership and project management skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Excellent interpersonal skills. - Ability to work under stressful conditions, multi-task, and effectively manage and prioritize tasks and projects. - Ability to understand how parts interact with the whole and integrate with future plans. - A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
